8 AI prompts that make content easier

By Len Travers, Co founder, Spoollie · October 20, 2026 · 4 minute read

Most people ask their AI for ten post ideas and get answers that sound like everyone else. The fix is simple. Tell your AI who you are, who you help, and what you want back.

Here are eight prompts you can copy and paste. The first four are from our post. The last four are your bonus. Swap the [BRACKETS] for your own details, then use them in ChatGPT, Claude, Muse, or any AI you like.

One tip before you start. The more real details you paste in, the better your answer will be.

Prompt 1: Find ideas

I sell [PRODUCT] to [CUSTOMER]. List 10 questions they ask before they buy. Turn each one into a post idea.

Your customers already tell you what to post about. Their questions are ideas that people want answered.

  • Use real words from the emails, comments, and messages you get.
  • Pick the three questions you hear most and post those first.
  • Ask a follow up, like: which of these would make the best reel?

Add one line about what makes you different. Your ideas will sound less like everyone else.

Prompt 2: Write hooks

My post idea is [IDEA]. Write 10 opening lines that make people stop scrolling. Keep each under 10 words.

The first line decides if people keep watching or reading. With ten choices, you can pick the best one.

  • Try a question, a number, and a bold promise.
  • Read each line out loud. Keep the one that sounds like you.
  • Use the same line as the first words on your video.

Ask for a mix of styles. Then see which kind gets the most views, and ask for more like it.

Prompt 3: Sound like you

Here are 3 of my best posts: [PASTE]. Learn my voice. Now write 5 new posts about [TOPIC] in the same voice.

AI writes in a safe, plain style unless you show it yours. Real examples teach it how you talk.

  • Paste posts that did well, not just ones you like.
  • Ask it to describe your voice in three words first. Fix anything that feels off.
  • Save that voice note and paste it at the start next time.

If a draft still sounds stiff, say so. Ask for shorter sentences and simpler words.

Prompt 4: Reuse one post

Turn this post into a reel script, a carousel, and a short caption: [PASTE POST]. Keep the words simple.

One good idea can feed a whole week. Say it once, then share it in a few different shapes.

  • Start with your best post from last month.
  • Ask for a reel script that takes under 30 seconds to say.
  • Ask for one slide for each idea in the carousel.

Post each version on a different day, so your followers do not see the same thing twice in a row.

Prompt 5: Bonus: Plan your week

Plan 7 days of posts for [BUSINESS]. Mix tips, stories, and questions. For each day, give me a hook, a caption, and a photo or video idea.

A plan ends the daily question of what to post. You sit down once, and the week is ready.

  • Tell it which days you can film and which days you can only post a photo.
  • Ask it to put your best idea on the day your followers are most active.
  • Swap any day you do not like. Ask for three new choices.

Tell it how much time you have. A plan you can finish beats a perfect plan you skip.

Prompt 6: Bonus: Turn comments into posts

Here are comments and questions from my followers: [PASTE]. Group them into 5 themes. Write one post idea for each theme.

Your followers show you what they care about. When you answer them in a post, more people feel seen.

  • Copy comments from your last few posts and your messages.
  • Ask which theme came up the most, and post that one first.
  • Reply to the people who asked, and tell them you made a post for them.

Take out names and private details before you paste anything in.

Prompt 7: Bonus: Make it clear

Rewrite this caption so a 10 year old could understand it. Keep it under 50 words and end with one clear next step: [PASTE CAPTION].

Short, simple words get read. A clear next step tells people exactly what to do after they read.

  • Use it on captions that feel long or full of big words.
  • Pick one next step only, like save this, comment a word, or visit your link.
  • Compare the old and new versions. Keep the best lines from both.

Read the new caption out loud. If you run out of breath, cut it again.

Prompt 8: Bonus: Learn what works

Here are my last 10 posts and their views: [PASTE]. What do my best 3 have in common? Give me 5 ideas to try next.

Your own numbers hold the best clues. This prompt finds the pattern, so you can do more of what works.

  • Include the topic, the first line, and the views for each post.
  • Ask what the three weakest posts have in common, too.
  • Pick one idea to test this week, not all five.

Check back after a week. Ask the same question again and see what changed.

A simple way to use all eight

  1. Monday: Use prompt 1 to find your best post ideas.
  2. Tuesday: Use prompt 2 to write hooks for your top three.
  3. Wednesday: Use prompt 3 so the drafts sound like you.
  4. Thursday: Use prompt 4 to turn your best one into a reel, a carousel, and a caption.
  5. Friday: Use prompt 8 to see what worked, then use prompt 5 to plan next week.
